West Ham United have strengthened their attack by signing Gil Vicente striker Pablo Felipe and agreeing a deal for Lazio forward Valentín Castellanos.
The two moves will cost up to £47m and are part of a January rebuild led by Nuno Espírito Santo.
West Ham rejected a move for Jørgen Strand Larsen after deciding his £40m valuation was too high.
Pablo joins for £18.3m plus add-ons after scoring nine goals this season in Portugal.
The 21-year-old said he is determined to prove himself and help the club survive.
West Ham have also agreed a £26.1m deal with Lazio for Castellanos.
The 27-year-old has scored twice this season and is seen as a link-forward option.
Further reinforcements are possible, with interest in Fulham winger Adama Traoré.
West Ham remain 18th and urgently need goals to avoid relegation.
